Overview:

The Quality Control Specialist QC manages quality program planning, quality program evaluation, identifying and resolved quality issues, and providing technical advisory services.

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluates systemsAnalyzes dataEstablishes control proceduresUse DSS and other Government Data SystemsValidates processesPerformed IAW DLA Distribution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Audits Readiness Internal Controls

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervisory responsibilities are not anticipated.

Education and/or Experience:

BA/BS Degree in related field4+ Years of Quality Control experience in an IT related environmentExperience with Corrective Action Plans (CAP)3+ years experience working with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).2+ years experience with MIL-STD-129.Government contracting experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Material Hazard and Bio-Hazard Communication (MSDS)Knowledge of the Material Receiving / Handling sections of ISO 9000Experience with OEM Process Flow System and Procedures (NCR)Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software.Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a TeamPosition requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervisionMust be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Microsoft Office Suite (MOUS) Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional Security Clearance.

Security Clearance:

The candidate must be able to pass a thorough government administered background investigation for the site.
