• IM/FM Residency Program
• Level II Trauma Center
• 506 hospital beds
• Average Daily Census: 18-20
• Dedicated Admitter
• Day (6a-6p): 11 physicians & 2 NPPA
• Night (6p-6a): 2 physicians & 1 NPPA
• 7-on-7-off schedule
• Closed ICU
• EMR: Meditech

Qualifications

• Licensure: VA
• Board Certification: ABIM/ABFM Eligible or Certified

LewisGale Medical Center is a 306-bed facility staffed with highly skilled medical professionals. The hospital is part of a system with four hospitals, two Cancer Centers and six Outpatient Centers catering to over 250,000 patients annually. LewisGale Medical Center is an accredited chest pain center approved by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, and it is a top performer on key quality measures by the Joint Commission.
