An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Burn care is needed in San Francisco, California. This position involves working in a Burn Intensive Care Unit environment, providing specialized patient care for critically ill burn patients with support from multi-disciplinary teams. Candidates are required to bring their California RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Burn

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; BSN degree; minimum 2 years of RN experience including at least 1 year in Critical Care; certifications in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS), and Certified Burn Registered Nurse (CBRN); proficiency in arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilator management, and other critical care skills; experience with electronic medical records, specifically Epic; prior travel experience within the last 12 months; prior teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, CCRN, ABLS, CBRN
• Float: Float to other UCSF facilities as needed
• Additional Requirements: Attach proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster before start date or proof of scheduled appointment; prior travel within 12 months; prior teaching hospital experience preferred.
