Bonus Amount 20,000 Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I, internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I. The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures, operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes, and assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. Shift Available Days - Monday thru Friday Employment Type Full-Time Hours 11:00am to 7:30pm Location Dallas Regional Medical Center Sign On Bonus UP TO $20,000 Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options Employer 401K options Tuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance options Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities Perform Diagnostic Radiographic or other procedures according to department protocols Mammography experience required Responsible for ensuring that X‑ray equipment functions properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X‑ray examinations Maintain accurate records of X‑ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history Operate CT scanners and/or X‑ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, adjusting scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, maintaining radiation safety at all times Operate radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images, perform C‑Arm fluoroscopic imaging, and understand fluoroscopy imaging techniques Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accreditation by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Licensure and fluoroscopy permit required by State Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required Current BCLS (AHA) Familiarity with State and Federal regulations One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred Proficient computer skills Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
