Field Operations Manager

Field Operations Manager Location: Mount Vernon, NY Salary range: $225,000 to $260,000 (depending on experience) Employment conditions: No staffing agency candidates will be considered. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within time and budget. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to align schedules and deliverables. Oversee resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment. Monitor and evaluate overall company operations to improve productivity and reduce costs. Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices. Track project KPIs and report performance to senior management. Recruit, train, and manage operations staff, site teams, and subcontractors. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Implement quality control standards and supervise compliance at all project sites. Conduct site inspections and risk assessments. Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and consultants. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and key decisions. Support the business development team in preparing bids and project proposals. Monitor project budgets and financial forecasts. Approve procurement of construction materials and services. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and minimize operational inefficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 15+ years of experience in building/vertical construction operations. Preferably in New York City. At least 5 years in a senior managerial role. Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project management methodologies. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Procore). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal skills.
