Fire Sprinkler Technician / Backflow Specialist

We are a well-established fire protection company in Utah with a steady workload and long-term clients. We are hiring an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician / Backflow Specialist for a full-time, salaried position .

This role offers consistent work, stability, and growth , with a company vehicle provided . If you are not yet backflow certified, we will provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems
• Perform backflow testing and inspections (training provided if not certified)
• Complete fire protection inspections and service work within company software (must be tech savvy)
• Accurately complete inspection reports and documentation
• Communicate with office staff and customers
• Follow state and local fire code requirements
• Safely operate a company-provided service vehicle

Requirements

• Current fire sprinkler / fire protection certifications (Utah or transferable)
• Experience in fire sprinkler systems and inspections
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Must be able to use a tablet, email, & software to complete reports required

Certifications

• Backflow certification required
• Sprinkler certification required
