Part-Time Teller, Level 1

This individual helps customers with routine financial transactions. Day-to-day work includes making deposits, processing withdrawals and issuing cashier's checks. Tellers also perform basic customer service tasks, such as answering phones and forwarding customer requests to other departments within the Bank. This position is at our Gladstone branch with the potential to occasionally cover at Escanaba branches.

Essential functions include greeting and directing customers and answering phones, executing basic transactions, processing nights drops, drop-offs and mail, keeping teller area organized and supplies stocked, maintaining accurate records, balancing daily, and account for cash drawer, processing and balancing Branch Capture work and making adjustments as needed, performing general account maintenance, completing a variety of forms and applications, complying with all requirements, policies and procedures of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and attending all mandatory BSA training as needed for this position, and assuming and accomplishing other duties as assigned.

The work environment is a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a part-time position with variable hours up to 30 hours per week.

Requirements include numerical aptitude, accurate typing, computer and calculator skills, cash handling ability, strong interpersonal skills, understanding of Bank products and services, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Additional requirements include valid driver's license and ability to be insured if driving, attendance at meetings, some travel expected for this position, and responsibility for the upkeep/organization of their work area.
