OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Jamaica, NY by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking from Jamaica, NY to handle nationwide dry van freight, focusing on dependable long-haul operations and strong driver support.

Daily responsibilities:

• Operate OTR runs with typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles while following HOS and log rules.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and use in-house maintenance for any equipment issues.

You’ll run late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters. Pay begins at 65 CPM. Applicants must hold a CDL-A and have at least 12 months of verifiable experience; bonuses, regular home time and full benefits provided.
