Pharmacy TechnicianBartlett Regional Hospital is searching for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team!Pay Information:Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.External Hires: Pay rate will be determined by applicable qualifications and experience.Pharmacy Tech 1 starts at $23.68 per hour and up based on relevant experiencePharmacy Tech 2 starts at $28.02 per hour and up based on relevant experienceJob Summary:Pharmacy Tech 1: The Pharmacy Technician 1 performs entry-level technical and supportive duties related to medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy operations. This position assists in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services throughout the organization while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Pharmacy Technician I works collaboratively with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and other staff to support quality patient care and efficient pharmacy operations. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining competency in hospital pharmacy practice, medication distribution systems, and pharmacy technology applications.Pharmacy Tech 2: The Pharmacy Technician 2 performs advanced technical, operational, and patient-care support functions for inpatient and infusion pharmacy services. In addition to medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy systems support, this position is responsible for obtaining and documenting medication histories, supporting medication reconciliation activities, and serving as a resource for pharmacy technology and workflow processes.
