Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, production instructions, and basic manufacturing documentation.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of Brake Press, Press Brake, Machine Operator, Metal Fabrication, Sheet Metal, or Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify product quality.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality metal components.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a production team to meet daily manufacturing goals.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Capabilities

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and move around production equipment.
• Regularly handle, position, and move metal materials.
• Lift and move materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
• Safely perform work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Job Duties

• Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Select and install tooling, punches, and dies for production runs.
• Position materials accurately and monitor machine performance throughout production.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain production standards.
• Complete quality and production documentation, report equipment or quality concerns, and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area, perform routine machine cleaning, and assist with basic preventive maintenance.
