As we Create with Collaboration, Serve with Integrity, Grow with Excellence, and Advance with Innovation.As our Project Engineer– you will report to the Manager, Project Engineering Poultry.On a given day, you may:Develop detailed engineering layouts and documentation based on proposal requirements and customer needs.Prepare complete engineering packages including updated layouts, specifications, and project documentation.Review BOMs and technical details to ensure system accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the project scope.Translate proposal concepts into finalized engineering requirements and identify system gaps that need clarification.Evaluate information from third-party providers and determine whether it aligns with project requirements.Collaborate with Sales, Innovation, and Project Management to confirm feasibility and resolve issues.Review production drawings and configuration details prior to release and identify required corrections.Provide input into hour estimates and support planning for engineering tasks based on project complexity.Ensure engineering deliverables are accurate, consistent, and ready for downstream teams.Prepare updates and summaries that communicate engineering status and key decisions.Requirements for the role:Degree preferredAutoCAD or similar experience1+ years of similar technical experienceProject experience preferredAgile PLM experience preferredYou must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.Travel & Location:This position is hybrid reporting into our Gainesville facilityTravel up to 10% including internationalWe are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.
