Project Manager - Data Migration

Project Manager Onsite 2-3 days a week in Richmond. Travel: 25% travel. Responsibilities Overseeing the entire data migration process. Ensuring all project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. Ensuring the integrity of legacy data/systems migration to the cloud platform. Overseeing the data migration process, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Coordinating with the technical team. Coordinating and working with vendors. Ensuring the project adheres to timeline and budget constraints. Identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating project risks and issues. Leading the project team, driving motivation, collaboration, and high performance. Conducting regular project status meetings and providing detailed reports to stakeholders. Serving as the single point of contact for all project-related queries and communications. Qualifications 5-10+ years of direct program/project management experience. Previous data migration project manager experience. Previous legacy-to-cloud migration project experience. PMP or similar Project Management certification (preferred). Vendor management experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Solid technical background; experience working with data teams. Ability to understand complex technical material and assess business implications. Ability to translate business strategy into functional/operational plans and apply knowledge to critical components of the function. Strong relationship building and negotiation skills; able to influence internal and external stakeholders with shared and divergent interests. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and attention to detail. Demonstrated results in team management and ensuring work activities are value added and focused on project delivery.
