The ideal candidate must align with the culture and values of the brandwhile delivering results in a fast-paced environment.CAFÉ MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMonitors sales growth and cost control of the café against the budgetedexpectation and historical performance, to ensure that profit goals are met.Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.Presents a consistent, professional image of the café and crew by maintainingall sanitation and appearance standards.Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials.Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community andinitiating local store marketing campaigns.Be willing to work 45 hours a week and have open availabilityQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casualfield required.Open availabilityExperience recruiting, hiring, training and developing employees.Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the houseand back of the house.Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor.Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Servsafe® Certification preferred. Thriving in fast-paced "rush" periods with an attitude of accountability are great qualities to have on at Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
