Job description:

• Applicants will be considered for shift and hours posted.

• Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.

• Assist the Supervisor in coordination of daily responsibilities of the department.

• Ensure the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out timely and correctly.

• Monitor all equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance.

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, gripping, and reaching.

• Repetitive wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements.

• Some positions require lifting 40 to 70 pounds.

• Work in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces.

• Demonstrate proficiency in all jobs in the department while maintaining a safe work environment.

• Adhere to all Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.

• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
