Business System Analyst / Data Analyst
We are hiring a Business System Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team in Wisconsin! Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal resources as well as partner projects across the organization
- Analyzing existing data warehouses (Oracle, Snowflake) for impacts due to Workday changes
- Analyzing existing enterprise Tableau dashboards for impacts due to Workday changes
- Analyzing existing ancillary systems for impacts due to Workday changes
- Cataloging existing internal analysis tools and analyzing for Workday impacts
- Documenting system requirements and user stories
- Analyzing requirements against existing system configuration and Workday impacts to identify gaps and provide retrofit recommendations
- Writing test plans and coordinating testing with stakeholders
- Updating related documentation to capture retrofit changes
- Participating in Workday pre-implementation preparation activities
- Providing Workday post-implementation support and analysis
- 8+ years of professional experience as a technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Consultant
- Experience gathering requirements, performing gap/fit analysis, and writing user stories
- Experience working with data and reporting users to interpret needs, making system recommendations, and providing user support either through a project or managing a production backlog
- Experience performing analysis in analytics and data management environments
- Experience writing complex SQL or Python for data and system analysis
- Experience writing test scripts and guiding users through testing
- Experience working in higher education
- Experience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
- Workday implementation experience
- Experience with data migration or transformations, including source system data mapping, translations, and cleansing
- Experience performing system, quality, and/or smoke testing
