Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence. Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required. 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years. 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)). Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. Position regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive by the company. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety is required. Must accept responsibility for own safety and that of others. Physical Requirements: Must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, touch, handle, and reach with hands and arms. Must lift or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and may occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
