Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician or Special Procedures Technologist to support diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in a high-performing interventional team. This role requires expertise in all aspects of cardiac catheterization lab operations with minimal supervision. You'll work four 10-hour shifts weekly, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities (10-12 days in a five-week period, 24-hour coverage, 30-minute response time).

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with proficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Deliver patient care consistent with medical protocols and policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or invasive cardiovascular technology. (Formal education not required if credentialed as RCIS by 2013 or earlier.)
• Licensure/Certifications (at least one of the following):
  • ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology)
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist)
• Required Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support)

Skills Required:

• Expertise in cardiac cath lab equipment and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in urgent situations
