Graduate Transport Planner (Chesterfield) Full‑time State/Province: Bristol, City of Business Group: DCS Legal Entity: AECOM Limited Business Line: Transportation Work Location Model: Hybrid Operating Group: International Primary Location: UK – Bristol, 3 Rivergate Role Overview You will support senior staff within the Transport Planning Team, assisting in data collection, economic modelling, business case preparation, and client communication. Key Responsibilities Collecting and analysing transport‑related data. Building and reviewing economic models. Drafting infrastructure proposal documents and business cases. Preparing reports, presentations, bids and proposals. Attending meetings and workshops with clients and cross‑disciplinary teams. Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Mathematics, or a 2:1 MSc in Transport Planning (or equivalent). Master’s degree in the above fields or Transport Planning is an advantage. Transport Planning modules or relevant experience. Experience using Python or R for data processing. Good technical understanding of Transport Planning. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
