Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Oversees the decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Manages military service inquiries, requests for proposals and provisioning determinations. Understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification. Manages the resolution of technical and support problems. Coordinates status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.Basic QualificationsSupervisory experience in the Aerospace industry or militaryTool crib experience in the aircraft maintenance industryExperience working with programs as; Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Time, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management. Desired SkillsThe following Desired Skills are not required but are skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:1. Familiarity with the F-16 supply procurement processes.2. Working knowledge in LM Aero program, logistics, technical data, and training process and procedures.3. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.4.
