Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Float Pool

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in specialized units, including ICUs and ER, focusing on pediatric patients. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards. Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, participating in professional development activities. Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors. Maintain a safe working environment, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications and Skills Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred). Valid RN license required. Less than 2 years of experience preferred; no supervisory experience necessary. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
