Role Description The Associate Attorney will handle a varied docket of civil litigation, personal injury, business transactions, real estate, agricultural, and regulatory compliance matters. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents, managing case files, and preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials. The role involves advising clients on legal risks and strategies, negotiating settlements and agreements, and collaborating with firm leadership to advance client objectives. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Buffalo, OK, requiring regular interaction with clients, courts, and local stakeholders. The Associate Attorney will be expected to manage deadlines, maintain high professional standards, and contribute to the firm’s growing. Qualifications Strong foundational experience a plus, but willingness to learn paired with the ability to analyze statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to civil litigation, business, and real estate matters is welcome. Demonstrated ability to provide clear, actionable Legal Advice that aligns with client objectives and risk tolerance. Proficiency in legal Research, including fact investigation and use of legal research tools to develop case strategies and support written work. Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes, drafting settlement agreements, and managing business transactions. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for prompt admission) to practice law in Oklahoma. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting litigation documents and presenting arguments in court or administrative proceedings. Ability to work on‑site in Buffalo, OK, manage a diverse caseload, and collaborate respectfully with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. High ethical standards, professional integrity, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and trust.
