Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care during the night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three twelve-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding health management and recovery.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to established protocols and standards of care.
Respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations.

Qualifications

Current RN license in good standing.
Experience in a CVICU setting preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with basic pharmacology and advanced nursing practices.
