Float Pool Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) UNC Health is looking to hire a Primary Care APP (NP/PA) for its float pool. If you are looking to work short-term assignments to periodic assignments, this may be the opportunity for you. Part‑time options (1‑2 days) are also available. Requirements Family Medicine/Primary Care APP Licensed in North Carolina 1 plus years of experience (minimum requirement) Knowledge of Epic is a plus Must work once every 90 days Compensation $60/hour Locations Around the Triangle and surrounding areas Education Requirements Completion of an accredited graduate‑level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensure / Certification Requirements Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA. Knowledge / Skills / and Abilities Requirements Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
