Speech Language Pathologist - Schools

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Assignment Dates: August 19, 2026 – June 15, 2027 Schedule: 37.5 hours/week | Full-Time | 36-week contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Brandywine School District for the 2026–2027 school year. The SLP will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy services in compliance with district guidelines and physician orders. You will work alongside two experienced full-time SLPs, making this a supportive environment—Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide direct therapy services to students Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with compliance standards Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning Minimum Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment CCC-SLP preferred (may be required depending on state/contract) Minimum of 1+ year of relevant experience (school-based preferred) Knowledge of and compliance with professional practice standards Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray as required) Current health certificate per state or contract requirements Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
