Job Description
Contractors in the Skillit network are actively hiring experienced professionals for welders jobs in Minneapolis to support industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform fitting, welding, and modification tasks on structural and mechanical components
- Operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Prepare and clean parts before fitting and welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Verify accuracy of materials and components prior to welding
- Pass required welding tests including Flux Core, Spray, and Short Circuit
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in welding, fabrication, or related field
- Ability to read tape measures and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience verifying parts and materials for accuracy
- Proficiency in preparing surfaces and components prior to welding
- Willingness to work extended hours when required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
