Job Description
This role involves creating and executing validation procedures, conducting field validation, and ensuring system integration meets quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in both hardware and software aspects of Infotainment Systems and will contribute to innovative technology research for vehicle platforms.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.

Job Description
This role involves creating and executing validation procedures, conducting field validation, and ensuring system integration meets quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in both hardware and software aspects of Infotainment Systems and will contribute to innovative technology research for vehicle platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform development and validation efforts for Infotainment Systems, including specification review and validation procedure creation.
- Conduct bench and vehicle field validation, and track development progress.
- Evaluate competitive systems, revise and create specifications, and troubleshoot vehicle sub-system interactions.
- Complete projects on time and meet milestone requirements for vehicle development.
- Develop innovative technologies for potential implementation, cost savings, and technical roadmaps.
- Support the development and validation of Radio, Media, Audio systems, Bluetooth, Navigation, OTA, and Connected Car.
- Conduct port interface audits, quality gate audits, and field issue support.
- Create technical reports for presentation to management and stakeholders.
- Utilize automated tool sets for testing Infotainment aspects efficiently.
- Interface with departments such as Infotainment Software, Electrical Design, Product Strategy, and Autonomous.
- Perform system-level validation on Infotainment aspects such as Radio, BT, WebOS, etc.
- Conduct BT Hands Free call tests for optimal performance.
- Complete validation tasks for system teams and other areas for IDD.
- 2+ years of experience in developing specifications and design verification test plans for Infotainment platforms.
- 1+ year experience in Infotainment System hardware and software design and/or validation.
- Experience in design and release of electric-related structures and components.
- Knowledge of validation of embedded systems and In-Vehicle communication protocols.
- Experience in executing and validating scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Preferred experience in software development.
- Understanding of server development.
- Experience in end-to-end vehicle Infotainment System architectures, mobile, and wireless computing architectures.
- Experience in the design and development of Infotainment products from an OEM perspective.
- Knowledge of GSM, CDMA, LTE, and 4G/5G technologies.
