Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in floor care or janitorial services, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
• Familiarity with floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
• Inspect flooring surfaces regularly to identify areas needing repair or special attention and report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures to protect residents, staff, and self from potential hazards.
• Coordinate with facility management and other maintenance staff to schedule floor care activities with minimal disruption to residents and daily operations.
