Join us and make a difference every day!ResponsibilitiesPerform cost-effective inspections of structures with Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems.Accurately complete all documentation related to inspections.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relevant NFPA standards, materials, and installation practices.Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and associated components, including:Wet and dry systemsFire pumpsPre-action systemsDeluge systemsAntifreeze loopsBackflow preventersInspect and service portable fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA 10.Perform minor repairs on sprinkler systems, including head replacements, leak repairs, and overall system functionality checks.Conduct minor repairs on fire alarm systems, including replacing detectors and resolving wiring issues.Cross-train in other disciplines to support additional licensing requirements.Required Knowledge and SkillsSprinkler SystemsFamiliarity with NFPA 13 (Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems).Familiarity with NFPA 25 (Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems).Ability to perform thorough inspections and tests to ensure regulatory compliance.Fire Alarm SystemsUnderstanding of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code).Knowledge of fire alarm components: detectors, control panels, notification devices, and associated wiring.Portable Fire ExtinguishersKnowledge of NFPA 10 (Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers).Ability to inspect, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers for proper functionality.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection system inspection, maintenance, and repair (install/service experience is a plus).Skills and Competencies:Your ability to take direction from your supervisors will empower you to enhance your professional growth and play a pivotal role in achieving organizational goals.Accurate completion and maintenance of all paperwork is absolutely essential.Meticulous documentation and notation of all deficiencies is critical to maintaining compliance of the system.Adherence to company policies regarding vehicle and tool maintenance.Valid state driver's license and a good driving record.Capability and proficiency in performing testing and maintenanceEffective team collaboration and ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.Capability to work independently with moderate supervision.Strong customer service skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.Compliance with and embrace of all Core Values and the safety handbook.You'll Benefit from:Unlimited Growth Opportunity: With a constantly expanding range of products and vertical markets, we consistently experience double-digit growth, creating new avenues for advancement and promotion within our company.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Our benefits package is here to support you and your well-being.
