Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Weekend rotation required.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial equipment while following all plant policies, procedures, and safety requirements. This position works with a wide range of machinery and mechanical systems including motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production-line equipment. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure proper functionality of all mechanical and electrical systems while following all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on machines, tools, equipment, and auxiliary systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults involving motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control panels.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical components and wiring in compliance with plant standards and local electrical codes.
• Complete and document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Fabricate or modify plant parts and equipment as needed.
• Procure spare parts according to specifications and operational requirements.
• Participate in scheduled on-call and weekend rotations.
• Support assigned projects and collaborate with team members to improve plant operations.
• Actively participate in the plant’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and conveyor systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems including AC/DC motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits.
• Skilled in welding, fabrication, machining, and precision alignment preferred.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe electrical work practices.
• Experience using industrial tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
