Welding Adjunct Instructors

Overview Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC is seeking Welding Instructors for its Thornley Campus. Instructors will teach day and evening programs covering entry‑level to advanced courses in Gas Metal Arc Welding – Pulse, oxyacetylene cutting, blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, weld inspection, testing and codes. Schedule Day program: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Evening program: Monday‑Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm Responsibilities Teach and develop curricula for entry‑level to advanced welding courses. Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with welding codes and standards. Qualifications Training or teaching experience in welding. Recent welding experience and eligibility to pass certification tests in each taught process. Associate degree in a related field (preferred). Compensation Hourly rate: $30 – $40 per hour.
