This NP shall perform complete, detailed and accurate histories; as well as to review patient records to develop comprehensive medical status reports. Additionally, the NP will complete physical examinations; make diagnoses and institute therapy, including drug therapy. This individual will institute emergency measures and emergency treatment; arrange hospital admissions and discharges at the direction of the collaborating Physician. The NP may also be required to complete hospital rounds; provide instructions and guidance regarding medical care matters to patients. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**:Master of Science in Nursing degree required. Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience required.**License / Certification**: Active Nurse Practitioner license required, active Nurse Practitioner license through American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) required, BLS certification required.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:- Knowledge of basic Windows based PC operations.- Excellent organizational skills.- Good oral and written communication skills.- Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.- Ability to work from broad directions and be self-motivated.- Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency.- Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization.- Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients.**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**:Position requires sitting for 20% of the workday and mobility 80% of the workday.
