Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse - Night Shifts in the healthcare provider setting. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric oncology patients, supporting treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires floating to other healthcare facilities within the organization as needed. Job Details Position Description: Oakland 12-hour night shifts. Must be able to float to other healthcare facilities within the organization. Certifications: CA RN License, BLS, Chemo (ONC/ONCC), APHON. Required Experience: 2 years of Pediatric Oncology/In-Patient Oncology experience. Preferred Qualifications: Chemo (ONS/ONCC), Epic experience, Hematology/Oncology experience. Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Additional Responsibilities: Accessing and managing ports, administering chemotherapy, blood and blood products, handling complications related to oncology treatments, patient and family education, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BSN, 2 years pediatric oncology experience, at least 1 year of charge or patient ratio experience, charting experience in Epic, and relevant certifications listed above. Submission Requirements: Current CA RN license, three professional references, proof of certifications, and relevant oncology nursing modules as required.
