As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a life sciences location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule Wed – 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM Thur – 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a life sciences and laboratory environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols of laboratory, office, manufacturing, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and maintaining required records. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
