OR Registered NurseJoin the surgical team at Hilton Head Hospital, a 94-bed hospital featuring 6 operating rooms and a busy surgical program completing approximately 12–15 cases daily. Utilizes an ongoing process to interpret data and recognize patterns and trends to determine immediate and future care needs.Planning: Dialogues with the patient and support system to identify priorities and incorporate preferences into care plans. Engages interdisciplinary teams, identifies resources, establishes goals, and prioritizes interventions. Continuously modifies plans based on patient condition and needs.Implementation of Interdisciplinary Plan of Care: Advocates for patients while implementing care plans. Collaborates with healthcare teams, educates patients and support systems, and ensures completion of interventions and therapies. Performs nursing duties including medication administration, IV starts, dressing changes, patient transport, and emergency response such as CPR.Evaluation: Continuously assesses patient progress, gathers input from patients and support systems, and modifies care plans to achieve desired outcomes.Communication and Documentation: Communicates care plans and progress using tools such as SBARQ and documents information in a timely manner.Delegation: Delegates appropriately while ensuring patient safety and accountability for care delivery.Performance Accountability/Evidence-Based Practice: Practices according to Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and ANA Bill of Rights. Engages in shared governance, process improvement, and professional development. Maintains a professional portfolio and integrates evidence-based practice.Teamwork: Builds positive relationships, supports team needs, mentors others, resolves conflicts, and responds constructively to feedbackWhat We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
