Registered Nurse (RN), House Supervisor LifePoint Behavioral Health is part of LifePoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. Triangle Springs is a 77‑bed behavioral health hospital located in Raleigh, North Carolina, providing care for patients with mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities Oversee nursing and hospital operations during assigned shifts to ensure quality patient care and operational excellence. Manage nursing department staffing and scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage while minimizing overtime and agency utilization. Review and approve or deny time‑off requests in collaboration with nursing leadership. Monitor staff attendance, maintain records of tardiness and absences, and assist with payroll processes as directed. Serve as the administrative leader during evenings, nights, weekends, and other periods when hospital administration is not onsite. Supervise staff performance and provide coaching, mentoring, education, and support to promote professional growth and accountability. Assist with staff performance evaluations and administer corrective action in accordance with hospital policies. Provide direct patient care and function as a working RN when needed to support unit operations and patient needs. Support admissions and intake processes as needed to ensure efficient patient flow and timely access to care. Conduct nursing assessments, develop and update treatment plans, administer medications, and oversee admissions and discharges. Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards. Assist the Chief Nursing Officer and nursing leadership with department meetings, documentation, attendance tracking, and follow‑up actions. Investigate incidents, concerns, and grievances, gather accurate information, complete required documentation, and communicate findings to leadership. Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation among staff while maintaining a positive work environment. Maintain compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, state, federal, and organizational standards. Promote a culture of safety, patient advocacy, quality improvement, and compassionate care. Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina. Previous behavioral health, psychiatric, substance use disorder, dual diagnosis, or geriatric nursing experience preferred. Leadership or charge nurse experience preferred. Experience with patient assessment, treatment planning, family engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred. Strong communication, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Knowledge of regulatory requirements including TJC, CMS, Medicaid, and state and federal healthcare regulations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies and high‑pressure situations. Commitment to patient‑centered, compassionate care and staff development. Schedule & Compensation Full‑Time | Day Shift. Sign on Bonus: $10,000. Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer.
