Journeyman Electrician

Esposito's Electric, a well-established and local electrical contractor, is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform effective repairs. Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local and state codes. Respond to after-hours emergency calls as required by the on-call schedule. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper care and use of company tools and equipment. Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, colleagues, and project managers. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable field experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work. Valid New Jersey Journeyman Electrician license is required. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A CDL license is a plus. Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check. Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of electrical principles and theory. A “team-player” attitude with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
