Construction Services Supervisor

Mead & Hunt has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations. Responsibilities Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality. Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures. Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills. Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning. Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects. Managing business development opportunities and client relationships. Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed. A valid driver's license and travel will be required. The Successful Candidate Must Have All The Following Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience. Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience. No degree, but at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following PE license in MD, DC, or VA. Ten (10) years of industry-related experience. Construction Manager (CCM) certification. Experience supervising and mentoring staff. Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders. Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling.
