Job Information Job Title: Clinical Care Technician Location: 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 (RWJ New Brunswick / Morris Cancer Center) Department: Oncology Unit - MCC-9 Pay Range: $20.11 - $28.67 per hour Shift: Evening (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) Status: Full-Time (Hourly) Req #: 0000244007 Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Oncology Unit-9 at Morris Cancer Center, New Brunswick Facility. Video Link: Essential Functions The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, skin care. Providing patient care based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service. Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions. Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care. Participating in collaboration of patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning. Scheduling Requirements Evening Shift, 40 hours per week (5 shifts per week), 3 p.m.–11:30 p.m., includes every other weekend and some holidays. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association. Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program. Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
