Seeking an experienced X-ray/Radiology Technician to provide diagnostic imaging services in a busy hospital setting. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of radiologic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment according to departmental protocols.
- Perform CT, US, general radiology procedures, biopsies, and patient assessments.
- Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety measures before imaging.
- Document procedures accurately in the hospital's medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a clinical setting.
- Certification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent credential.
- Current FL DOH Nursing License or Radiology Technician certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Demonstrated experience with conscious sedation and critical care procedures.
- Ability to operate advanced radiology equipment and adapt to new technology.
