Engineering Liasion

Schneider Electric is looking to hire a Engineering Liaison in our El Paso, TX location.Responsibilities include acknowledging and normalizing engineering related issues as they occur throughout the manufacturing process. This will include answering manufacturing questions, resolving issues at the point of detection and engaging the engineer of record on more complex issues. In addition, the applicant will be required to provide relevant feedback to the engineering team to minimize repetitive issues. The candidate will be expected to provide support beyond regular working hours when necessary, given the high volumes we foresee for this coming year.The successful candidate should have the following:Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings for both the SWBD and LVDO product offeringProficiency in Symmetry, LDS, ODM+, and related softwareEffective time management to maintain published acknowledgement and normalization timeframes within LDS.Ability to effectively communicate with both engineering department and plant manufacturing personnelAbility to produce clear and concise documentation of repetitive issues and to effectively communicate findings during engineering SIM meetingsThis job might be for you if you meet the following criteria:4-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.5 plus years’ experience in the manufacture of electrical distribution equipment preferredExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentLet us learn about you!
