Salary Range: $30-38

Introduction

Join our team as a Merchandise Planner 2, where you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations. This is an on-site role at our WHQ, with typical work hours and the benefit of working from home on Fridays. The contract duration is approximately one year.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
2-4 years' experience minimum required in a merchandise planning role
Excel expertise
Knowledge of retail math and open-to-buy (OTB) management
Experience working in a cross-functional matrix environment
General understanding of retail operations
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Experience in merchandise assortment planning, inventory management, and financial forecasting
Able to have meaningful cross-functional conversations
Ability to work in ambiguity
Previous experience presenting in front of senior leadership (good communication skills)
Prior financial management experience
Proven ability to communicate with higher-ups (stakeholder management)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Collaborate with a direct team of 6-7 members and work hand-in-hand with other teams, including sport planning and in-line planning.
Develop detailed seasonal buy plans and monthly forecasts inclusive of sales, margin and inventory at the style color level.
Develop strategies to meet sport financial goals and own open-to-buy bottoms-up forecasts to inform business decisions and in-season optimization actions.
Articulate financial plans in seasonal presentations and monthly open-to-buy meetings to gain alignment and accelerate the vision of the sport business goals.
Facilitate monthly and seasonal inventory planning and management activities utilizing advanced data systems and analytics to solve problems and drive results.
