Job Summary:
This Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing position is located in Issaquah, Washington. The position involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity obstetric environment, with an emphasis on labor, preterm labor, obstetric, postpartum, and gynecological care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the listed qualifications.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate, and American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Experience with Epic electronic health record system and previous charge nurse experience required.
• Patient Care Details: Care for patients in labor, preterm labor, obstetric, postpartum, and gynecology units. Staffing ratios are 1:1 to 1:3, with a float requirement based on skill set.
• Special Procedures: Blood and blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, use of epidural, PCA, and syringe pumps, wound vacuum, medications including heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate, attend all deliveries including high-risk cases, and support within nursery and gynecological surgeries.
• Additional Information: Staffing ratios and float requirements are based on unit needs. Candidate must provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years, including six months for CNAs, during the compliance process.
