Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Pay Rate: $4,000 - $4,400 per week | translates to $50 - $55/hr | paid bi-weekly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Dress Code: Pewter-colored scrubs
What you’ll do
- Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures and support high-quality imaging
- Provide patient care within scope (POCT, IV insertion, patient interview/assessment, discharge education/confirmation)
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and follow ALARA safety guidelines
- Maintain strong documentation and accurate data entry (RIS/PACS and other systems)
- Maintain room readiness, cleanliness, stocking, and safe handling/disposal of radioactive materials
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team; assist with hand-offs and shift reporting
- Participate in quality/process improvement and support training/education efforts as needed
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or related)
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) CMRT license
- CPR certification
- 1+ year imaging experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET
