This is a high visibility opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong technical accounting background who is looking to transition into or continue growing within industry and take on a strategic, impactful role in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities • Lead technical accounting research and prepare accounting position memos related to complex transactions under US GAAP • Provide guidance on revenue recognition, stock compensation, leases, debt arrangements, acquisitions, and other technical accounting matters • Support the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and related disclosures • Partner closely with FP&A, legal, operations, and executive leadership to evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiatives • Oversee aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process related to technical accounting and financial reporting • Drive implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements • Assist with strengthening internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial reporting processes • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and support audit coordination • Mentor and develop junior accounting team members as the organization continues to grow Qualifications • Active CPA required • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • 6+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in technical accounting and financial reporting • Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred, but not required • Deep understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts • Experience supporting publicly traded companies and SEC reporting environments preferred • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and evolving environment Why This Opportunity • Excellent opportunity for someone looking to make the transition from public accounting into industry • Broad exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision making • Opportunity to work within an innovative biotechnology company making meaningful impact • Strong career growth potential as the organization continues to scale • Collaborative and team oriented culture with high visibility and ownership By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
