Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician position is available in the Saint Petersburg, FL area with a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in pharmacy operations, specifically those who hold certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and have expertise in mail order pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process and fill prescription orders in a timely manner
Manage mail order pharmacy logistics and ensure proper packaging and shipping of medications
Maintain inventory control and verify prescription accuracy
Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations and customer service
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies regarding pharmacy practice

Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
Prior experience in mail order pharmacy preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and medication dispensing
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time hours with weekday shifts; specific schedule details to be provided
