Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service while bringing our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to a caring, team-first culture grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and support site protocols for restricted areas and after-hours access.
• Communicate with hospital personnel, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and/or concerns requiring follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
