What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level 3 NICU with birth-ready designation
• Monitor neonatal patients using bedside telemetry monitoring systems
• Administer medications and treatments using IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RN charge nurses, resource nurses, RTs, PT/OT, nurse practitioners, and CRNAs
• Comply with infection control policies, including PPE protocols
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Support families and educate caregivers about neonatal needs and care plans

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• At least 1 year of NICU experience (Level 3 or higher preferred)
• BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to handle acuity levels and patient ratios (1:2 nurse to baby, 1:4 based on acuity)

Preferred:

• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR or similar systems
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
