Senior Credit Analyst

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Analyze and risk-rate complex commercial, agricultural, SBA, and other credit relationships, ensuring recommendations align with lending policy, regulatory expectations, and the bank’s risk tolerance.
- Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial strength by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, cash flow, projections, trends, and key financial ratios; summarize findings in clear credit presentations.
- Conduct annual loan reviews, monitor covenant compliance, identify credit weaknesses or policy exceptions, and recommend actions to strengthen the bank’s position and reduce risk exposure.
- Partner with lenders, credit leadership, and loan committees to address documentation issues, credit exceptions, underwriting concerns, and complex loan decisions through clear, well-supported recommendations.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less-experienced credit staff while contributing to department initiatives, committee discussions, process improvements, and special projects.
Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Related Field.• 5+ Years of Banking, Credit Review, Credit Analysis Experience
