The nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessmentsDevelop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teamsAdminister medications and treatments accurately and safelyMonitor patient condition and respond to changes in statusDocument all patients care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR)Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructionsMaintain infection control and patient safety standardsParticipate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary roundsSupervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, nursing assistants, and other support staff as appropriateAdhere to hospital or facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulationsParticipate in continuing education and performance improvement activitiesWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Current and valid license in the state of SD (MN also preferred)BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications as neededStrong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency with EHR systems and common clinical equipmentWHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM TURNWELL?May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periodsPossible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseasesFast-paced environment with emotionally challenging situationsShift work, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on the setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
