Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, adapt to patient needs, and collaborate with peers while referring patients for additional care. You train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
